Tracking
Surveys
Knowing exactly where your sewer pipes run is essential for maintenance and if you’re planning excavations. We offer everything from a basic record plan to detailed topographical plans using ground-penetrating radar.
CCTV
Using CCTV, we can explore your pipelines to pinpoint any faults or blockages. A full report on the condition of your pipework highlights any areas of potential concern.
Flow monitoring
Accurate data on sewer flow allows you to plan for increased production or new construction. We install monitoring equipment and gather precise flow data, enabling us to advise on the system’s ability to handle future needs.
Return to sewer allowance
Your sewerage volume charges are normally based on the assumption that not all water consumed is returned to the sewer. Most sewerage wholesalers apply a default Return to Sewer (RTS) figure of 90 to 95% to their metered sewerage volume charges. Where a customer believes that the volume of water returned to sewer is less than the default allowance, they can apply for a reduction in the RTS percentage.
The Retail Wholesale Group have created a useful PDF guide on this. It outlines the responsibilities of the supplier and wholesaler, what you can expect as a minimum standard of service and how you can apply.
