Third-party authorisation

You can request or withdraw a letter of authority for a third party to manage your account.

What is a letter of authority?

Submitting a letter of authority for your Business Stream account allows you to give permission to someone else, a named third party, to access or manage parts of your account on your behalf. A third party could be your partner, an associate, a solicitor, your landlord or another company individual you contract with. To set up third-party authorisation, you can send us a 'letter of authority' which officially advises us of your permission(s).

Request third-party authorisation

Complete and sign our Third Party Authority form or submit your own letter-headed Letter of Authority if you prefer. Whichever option you choose, it will remain valid for three years.

Send it to us at Customer Service team, Business Stream, PO Box 17381, Edinburgh, EH12 1GT.

Withdraw third-party authorisation

You can withdraw your authorisation of a third party to manage your account at any time. Simply complete and sign our withdrawal form or submit your own letter-headed withdrawal notice.

Send it to us at Customer Service team, Business Stream, PO Box 17381, Edinburgh, EH12 1GT.
